Il mausoleo di Ciro è in grande pericolo. La denuncia viene da una delle maggiori istituzioni culturali che si occupano di valorizzare il patrimonio culturale iraniano. Ma, si sa, al regime islamico sembra importare poco dei reperti di epoca persiana e preislamica:
