È un’ipotesi vecchia come il cucco. L’avevo smentita in un documentario girato dal National Geographic quasi dieci anni fa (link, anche se alcuni miei interventi sono stati purgati...). E ora la stampa lancia un nuovo documentario che, anche se non l’ho ancora visto, definisco certamente spazzatura:

1. A ground-breaking study has found the first evidence that the Turin Shroud features the face of Leonardo da Vinci, a TV documentary will reveal tomorrow. The medieval painter and scientist has long been suspected of faking the image of Jesus Christ's face using pioneering photographic techniques. But now a new study of his facial features suggest the image on the Shroud is actually da Vinci's own face.
   

Chi sostiene tale paccottiglia è allo stesso livello - se non peggio - di coloro che ritengono autentica la reliquia.
