Breaking News - New Finds in Magdala
Today, the Franciscans in Jerusalem published a preliminary report on their latest discoveries in Magdala. They got a special permission by the IAA to dig a new area of 500 square meters. It took them 6 months to clean out the ground from trees and plants. Under the direction of Michele Piccirillo, archaeologists unearthed amazing remains: coins, pottery, working tools, parts of builings and streets.
